Vocal Soloists in a chamber music program of 16th and 17th century mostly-Italian motets for 2 to 6 voices, celebrating Easter, the election of the new Pope, and the Virgin Mary

MEMF 2013 Instrumental Soloists playing chamber music,
from Bach and Vivaldi (Double Violin Concerti) to Boccherini (Cello Sonata)

Francesco Cavalli's Venetian Vespers
Maestra Kerry Krebill conducts guest soloists, double chorus, the MEMF chamber ensemble and continuo in music of Francesco Cavalli, successor to the brilliant Claudio Monteverdi as Maestro di Capella at San Marco in Venice, the most important church in 17th-centuy Italy.

Sight-reading and ear training bootcamp with master teacher Tom Gregg.
You will drill the basics from the ground up, and enjoy it!

Renaissance Singing 10:15 - 11:15 am M-F
Learn the style, and sing madrigals and motets with Early Music experts
Evanne Browne, Erick Crow and other Guest Artists.

Group Voice Class 10:15 - 11:15 am M-T-W
Encouraging, kind and experienced teachers Bobb Robinson and Rob Tudor
will help you use your voice the best way you can!

Exploring the Meaning Behind our Music 10:15-11:15 am Th-F
Rob Tudor leads this enrichment class with biographical information about the composers
and poets, and discussion of the forms and expression in the music the chorus is singing:

Tuesday (and all the rest of the week - at the Myrna) - Mezzo-soprano Anne Kania
in songs by Johannes Brahms, and tenor Thomas A. Gregg singing
settings of Robert Campion poetry by Larry Thomas Bell.

Wednesday - Ménage á Trois! Soprano Evanne Browne is joined by mezzo-soprano
Anne Kania and counter-tenor Jay White in duets and trios
by Fauré, Mendelssohn, Rossini and more.

Thursday - PDQ Bach. "Oedipus Tex" (and other Greek travesties).

Friday - Music of American composers Jake Heggie, William Bolcom, Bernstein and
Corigliano, and Benjamin Britten's ravishing Canticle IV "Journey of the Magi" for tenor,
counter-tenor and baritone (in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Britten's birth).

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings, Saturday a.m.
